Any other comments on Te Aroha Spa:

There is not enough interest in this area for tourists to come to or even through Matamata: how can the council propose tourist increases will provide future income? The capacity of the current Te Aroha spa is not near full as they are constantly available at most of the day’s time slots every time I go to check the booking system online. And if there is more demand for the treatment side, then more staff just have to be added which would coincide with the increased demand and not require any household cost would it not? In another economic climate with more potential future thoroughfare, this might be a good project to look into once again. But for now, the facilities are more than enough for the current climate and interest.
