It would be easier if the questions you’re asking line up with the options outlined in the proposal document. I doubt many submitters will be able to read the policy, and understand if the new policy aligns with option 1 or option 2
Walking and cycling improvements

Alternative option: Continue to steadily improve walking and cycling connections, but over a longer time frame?

I believe walking and cycling is important for the community. Post covid there has been a nation wide move away from organised team sport to more individual physical activity. The walking and cycling budget in your 21-31 LTP supported this.
Te Aroha Spa
What do you think we should do?
Alternative option: Stop work on it all together?
Any other comments on Te Aroha Spa:
I agree with the business case, this idea is a nice to have but does stack up. There are other opportunities to bring tourist money into the district.
Roading

Alternative option: Keep roading renewals at the current level?

I am interested in the impact the current GPS will have on this, and if the “pothole” budget will be available to help local road renewals

The new play ground in Morrinsville is great, I believe Matamata and are Aroha deserve the same

Stick to the plan, the main streets are old and tired. Costs will continue to increase.
