Alternative option: Cut costs further by deferring the Te Aroha playground?

If anything, Te Aroha should have additions / upgrades to existing playground/s. VOICE OF USERS: My grandchildren use playgrounds! They are experts! They come from Rotorua and are blessed with a plethora of playgrounds and things to do. When visiting Te Aroha - they say our one in The Domain is awesome - because it's on a hill/the mountain... and they always want to go THERE. Yet, it is not flash. Some of it is downright dangerous. But there you have it: from the mouths of users (for the past 5 years) aged now 6 & 8 - they want to use it because of the slope, the view, the trees... This statement is worth building on - is it not? Lets not spend more $ and use more flat space on new playgrounds that are actually used by a small portion of the population plus are costly to build and maintain. Let's just look at revitalising this extraordinary space sometime in the future.
