Any other comments on Te Aroha Spa:
The options did not fit with what we wanted to submit on, so have only chosen this option as do not want to be counted as supporting the other options. Our submission is on not taking away any funds previously allocated to Te Aroha. We would like to see the previously committed funds in the LTP remain committed to Te Aroha. We would also like to see some specific outcomes for our town be done by our people of our town. The Spa is not the only option for Te Aroha, the maunga is Te Aroha. We would like to see investment in our Maunga, our tracks and natural environment by our people of our town. Going back to the last LTP, the town said, if we are going to invest in the spa then let's do it right, reducing investment in our town is not upholding that pledge.

We support an approach to build a community playground in Te Aroha, this has been in the planning stages and Council needs to commit to its plans.
Town Centre infrastructure

The Te Aroha Town Centre Revitalisation Project is a priority for our town. We support capital as well as operational and maintenance funding for this project as per the commitment in the last LTP.
