There are so many roads in rural Morrinsville that are constantly in a bad state - cutting the roasing renewal costs will mean more accidents and dangerous roads. On Morrinsville-Tahuna road near Mangateparu loop road heading into Morrinsville the road is so damaged you nearly have to cross the centre line just to avoid huge dips that could take out your tyres. Matuku road constantly has huge dodgy areas. These are main roads or roads used by school busses etc and need attention. Mangateparu hall carpark has the worst entry spots and multiple school busses and parent cars pull in and out of there daily. I am concerned that reducing the roading renewal program is going to create even more dangerous situations and accidents in our area.
